The Sunflower Fellowship Romania was founded in June 2001.
The aims of this Christian charity are:
To relieve sickness amongst children in Romania suffering from HIV or AIDS and/or any other special needs by the provision of holiday accommodation in Romania for the benefit of such children and where applicable their families.
The advancement of the Christian Faith.
In order to achieve these aims we worked in partnership with a Romanian Christian charity, and built Casa Valentin, a holiday home specially designed for these children. Work continues to improve the facilities and to raise funds for the running of the holiday home.
Casa Valentin received its first visitors in December 2002. It is a wonderful building and the love and effort which went into building it is clear to see.
It is situated in the beautiful surroundings of the Danube Delta, and we pray that children who stay there will enjoy the facilities we offer and experience God's love for them, through the concerned care and witness of the Christian staff.
